Healthy Skin Care Guidelines
for Men's:
1.Shaving
normally, man’s beauty schedule is start with
shaving. But remember that don’t shave if you just wake up. For closer shave,
give enough time to your facial skin for ‘wake up’ a bit. Try to prefer
cream-based facial cleanser in place of a shave gel. Their creamy consistency
makes your shave smooth. As gel-based products contain more alcohol, they
increases drying and irritation of the skin.
2. Moisturizer
Start using a moisturizer daily to maintain healthy skin. Some soap is laced with moisturizer, and for
some men they work just fine. But the surest way to moisten your skin after
washing it is to apply a moisturizer.
For dry skin-choose a cream, which is the thickest formulation.
For normal skin-reach a for a
lotion, which is lighter and less oily.
For oily skin-choose a skin toner or gel. If you have problems with acne moisturizers that contain glycolic acid or cyclical acid will help remove dead skin and keep your pores from clogging, dermatologist.

3. Facial cleansers
Begin to use facial
cleansers for your face instead of soap that you use on the rest of your body.
You will have a healthier skin.
4. Under your eyes
Having bags under your eyes is a sign of not getting
enough rest, so get a full 8 hours of sleep for fresh air and light in the
morning.
5. Stop Using All-purpose soap:
Any type of skin, deep cleansing is much important. For that you should keep
pores clear with gentle cleanser only. Clean the skin pores with Noxzema. Mind
that for cleansing the skin, never use any type of soap (specially “all-
purpose” antibacterial soap), as it makes your skin dry. Eczema and irritation
would be caused due to dry skin. Use such a mild cleanser which makes your skin
healthy and provides a young look along with cleansing. Try to prefer natural
cleanser if possible.
6. A good Scrub
A good scrub is necessary for healthy clean skin.
7. Use SPF umbrella:
Compared
to women, men have to perform more work outside the home. Basically, men need
more protection against drastic ultra violet rays of sun. Make habit to apply
sunscreen with SPF-30 every day for skin protection.
“There’s a misconception that dark skin does not need sun
protection and, worse still, is not susceptible to skin cancer,” says Sally
Pen ford of the International Dermal Institute. “Although dark skin does contain
more melanin, which provides a small amount of natural protection, this is
still minimal and according to the pigment may only give protection equivalent
to an SPF3.”
On days when you’re likely to be exposed to the sun for an
extended period of time, make sure you use a moisturizer with a minimum SPF15
sunscreen, advises Pen ford.
8. Sunglasses:
When you are exposed to the sun, wear sunglasses.
How to Create a Good Hair Care Routine for Men:
1. Get regular haircuts and trims from your trusted barber.
2. Massage your scalp with your fingertips or the pads of your fingers--not with your fingernails.
3. Don't be cheap about the styling products. Cheap ones will either dry out your hair or grease it up. Find
good quality gel, pomade, mousse, and whichever
other products that is best for your hair type. They may be a bit expensive,
but you only need to use a little to do a lot.
4. If you keep your hair cut very short, you probably won't need any styling treatments, as the oils from your scalp will be sufficient for your hair, and the short hair basically styles itself.
5. Conditioner for hair protection: For healthy and shiny hair looking, keep conditioning regularly.
